It is a pleasure to invite you to Anglophonia, the third international student conference organized by English Student Club X.a. As with the previous conferences, it is our goal to provide a platform where students can present their work and a forum for dialogue, discussion and critical analysis.
The conference will be held at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb during May 3–5, 2018.
The theme of the conference will be English Studies, including:
- Anglophone literature, as well as other art forms
- Anglophone cultures
- Translation studies
- Linguistics
- TEFL
Guidelines for Authors
The deadline for submission of your abstract is January 31, 2018. Your abstract should not contain more than 250 words and should give an overview of the topic you want to present, with theoretical strategies and/or methodology noted. We also suggest including 3-6 keywords and your key references (do not count towards the abstract’s word count). To submit your abstract, please send a PDF document (Times New Roman, font size 12, spacing 1.5) to the following e-mail address: anglophonia.ksaxa@gmail.com.

Participation fee: 50 HRK (7 EUR)
Conference participants will be responsible for organizing their accommodation. If we succeed in providing accommodation for presenters coming from outside Zagreb, you will be notified.
The presented papers will be published subsequently in conference proceedings.
